I recently bought these floral flats from a store called Spring. They are super comfy and pair well with many outfits :) Plus, they were only $20!! I feel like I've been getting such great deals when I go shopping! Anyways, I felt the need to create a cutesy outfit that would compliment these shoes, so I looked through my closet and found a white lace top and a flowy denim skirt. I love how this turned out, but more importantly...what do YOU think of this outfit?

P.S. That was my dog Sunny! I've had him for over 8 years now :) I will be dedicating a specific post just for him in the future!

I love H&M sales!

Yesterday, I went shopping my best friend from out of town and we perused the mall for the best sales. We ended up at H&M and I purchased this lovely cream/off-white dress for a mere $10! What a bargain! It was originally $25. Not paying full price makes me so happy :) It was a size medium, but I usually wear a small, so I put on a braided brown leather belt to cinch my waist and make the dress less boxy looking.

CHEETAH BOW TIES

Look how cute this skirt is!! I recently bought this from my beloved Forever 21...it's a pleated red skirt with CHEETAH BOW TIES! Can it get any cuter than that?! I tucked in my super-baggy, poncho-like black sweater into my skirt and paired this outfit with a sleek pair of Steve Madden leather booties. This is the type of outfit that I would wear to lunch with friends and family OR to school (minus the booties...I would wear flats instead). Super comfy and adorable! :)

Is it weird that I like to play dress up sometimes? I can't wait to be able to wear blazers and heels whenever I want! Blazers are sometimes too formal for high school and heels are only appropriate for parties (at my age). I usually wear this kind of outfit when I go out to eat with my parents :)

NEW CAMERA! + future giveaway?

As you can tell, my last post's pictures were of MUCH better quality than my previous pictures :) That's because I've been using my parents' professional camera - Canon EOS 20D. It is such a complicated camera so I'm going to try my best to read the entire manual and learn as much as I can! If anyone has an knowledge about this camera, pleaseeee tell me in the comment box below :) So far, I've managed to understand how to use the self-timer and focus the camera.....and that's about it :P hahaha. Anyways, from now on, you guys can look forward to better quality pictures on my blog! <3

Chiffon shirts are perfect for tucking into shorts, skirts, and pants. However, they look just as good loose.

Military+Animal Print

Here is another military-style jacket that I found in my closet! I am obsessed with the metal studs along the shoulders and the front. I rolled up the sleeves to make the outfit look more relaxed (plus it looked awkward when the sleeves were unrolled haha). I paired the jacket with a cropped black and white cheetah print shirt to enhance the entire look by making sure the dullness of the color of the jacket isn't overpowering. :o)

Floral+Military

As winter comes along, I am forced to wear heavier, layered clothing. This military-style jacket is VERY thick and it keeps me warm. I loveeeeee wearing scarves because they make me feel super cozy :) I especially love the pastel flower print on this scarf! It adds a nice contrast to this dark outfit.

Denim+Lace

Lately, I've been taking advantage of the "decent" weather and have been wearing a lot of dresses. This light pink lace dress with a metallic gold belt pairs well with the denim blazer-esque jacket. To add to the pink, I put on an unique gold necklace with pink flowers and butterflies. It's one of my favorite necklaces! I've never seen anything like it :P Also, I'm wearing a Juicy Couture watch that my best friend Brielle got me for my 17th birthday. It's PERFECT! It has such detailed designs, as you can tell by the picture. Thanks Brie!
